I Received the Reality Blog Award!

This is a new blog award and my heartfelt thanks goes to Shiroknowes for nominating my blog!

A few questions to address:

-If you could change something what would you change?  I would make it very inexpensive to travel around the world.

-If you could relive one day, when would it be?  The day I got a major sunburn on my first trip to Mexico.  I’d make sure to cover myself head to toe in sunscreen!

-What’s one thing that really scares you?  Bees!

-What’s one dream you haven’t completed yet and do you think you will be able to complete it?  I want to travel around the world and I hope to be able to complete it!

-If you could be someone else for a day, who would you be?  I think it would be interesting to be Kate Middleton for a day.

I nominate the following bloggers for this award:

A BIG, BIG THANK YOU to everyone that reads this blog!  I appreciate you SO much!

Trend Alert: Leather

There is definitely something sexy about a girl with an attitude and a pair of leather pants.” -Eliza Dushku

“People are more violently opposed to fur than leather because it’s safer to harass rich women than motorcycle gangs.” -Alexei Sayle

Leather is a wardrobe essential.  It’s a classic piece that never goes out of style.  Remember, there’s plenty of synthetic fabrics that simulate leather if you don’t like to wear anything made from animals.  I don’t like to wear genuine fur but I LOVE synthetic fur!  Synthetic leather is also much less expensive!

This season, leather is BIG and BOLD.  Head to toe leather is what’s currently trending.  That’s a little too much leather for me but I still love the trend.  Here are some ways you can add leather fashionably and inexpensively into your wardrobe.  Feel free to wear all the leather you want but remember that just one key piece can make a huge impact.  And don’t forget the attitude!  Attitude is everything!

Wardrobe Essentials: Scarves

What are the classic items that you can add to your wardrobe that will never go out of style?  What are timeless pieces that add style and class after fashion fades?  That’s right…it’s time to talk about another essential piece you should add to your wardrobe.  A scarf.

I just love scarves but I’m guilty of not incorporating them enough into my wardrobe.  I see people wearing scarves and they look amazing but for some reason, I always forget about adding a scarf when I put together an outfit.  Does anybody else have that problem?  I’m definitely going to work harder on working scarves into my outfits.  Scarves are a classic piece that you can always count on to look great over the years.  I’ve used them around my neck, in my hair, to accent jewelry, tied on purses and as belts.  The only limit is your own creativity…and if you lack that you can always look on the internet for ideas!

If you need some inspiration on scarves that you can add into your wardrobe, you’ve come to the right place!  Here are some fabulous scarves at even more fabulous prices!  Enjoy!

I’ve been enjoying the weather lately-80’s during the day and 70’s in the evening.  I was hoping to be able to grill outside this weekend but the weather is supposed to turn cold and yucky.  I’ll just have to adjust my plans to a weekend inside under a cozy blanket with some hot chocolate and a good movie!  Let me know if you’ve got a great Halloween costume you’ll be wearing!

Today is all about jewelry.  I found a ton of great deals on jewelry for you so I just made it an all jewelry day.  If you’re in need of some accessories or in need of some great gift ideas, here you go!  Just click on the pictures for more details.  Happy Thursday to all you fabulous people out there!
