Trend Alert-Spring Colors

I don’t know about you but it’s FREEZING where I am and it’s very hard to think about spring right now!  There’s actually a little snow on the ground outside!  However, spring will soon be upon us and I’m already seeing new spring colors in stores!

This year, I’m seeing two different color trends.  The first trend is bold, bright, vivid colors.  The second trend is pastel colors, which are always a staple for spring.  If you like a more romantic, feminine look, the pastel colors will be perfect for you!  If you like a more edgy, bold look, bright colors are the way to go!  I like to have a little of both color trends!

Here are some examples of the colors you can expect to see this spring.  If you’d like more details, just click on the picture!  Are you a bold color person or a pastel color person-or both?

Trend Alert: Black and White

Does black and white ever go out of style?  OF COURSE NOT!  That’s why I love it!  You just can’t go wrong and it looks great on everyone.  I guess you could call them universal colors.  If you’re like me, you have more black than white in your wardrobe.  I’m bad about getting marinara sauce all over my white items…even if I’m not eating anything with marinara sauce!

Don’t ever settle for “just OK” when you can be fabulous!  Never forget that YOU are what makes the clothes fabulous!  If you look uncomfortable, everyone else can tell.  Your body language gives you away.

STYLE QUOTE: “Style is an expression of individualism mixed with charisma. Fashion is something that comes after style.” -John Fairchild

Here are some black and white items at spectacular prices to help inspire you to be fabulous!  Just click on the picture for more info!

Trend Alert: Mint Green

WOW!  This color is everywhere!  It used to be one of my favorite colors when I was young, so I have a special place in my heart for it.  Color of any kind has become a huge trend but mint green is one of the front-runners.  This color would be great to wear for St. Patrick’s Day!!!  You may be thinking that you have no idea how to wear mint green.  Don’t forget that peach is a complementary color.  Also, navy blue and white look great with it.  Of course, denim goes with anything!  Experiment with it-pull out some of your clothes-even if you don’t think they’ll match-and just try it on.  If it doesn’t look right, go with your gut and don’t wear it.    If you like this color, you’re in luck!  Here are some suggestions on budget friendly items in the minty shade!  And let me know if you’ve decorated yourself!

Don’t forget: YOU ARE ASTOUNDING!

I LOVE these pastel rings!

How To Be Stylish-Know Your Colors-Part 2

HAPPY FRIDAY everyone!  I just love the weekend!  What are your plans-anything exciting or just trying to catch up on some “me” time?  Whatever you do, I hope you enjoy it!

Today, I have my second tip for you on how to be colorful without looking like a circus clown.  Actually, bold, vibrant colors are very fashion forward right now.  I recently saw a woman wearing a pair of jeans that were a very bold yellow-almost a mustard color.  She said that she felt like she was making everyone nervous with her boldly colored jeans.  Most of us are uncertain about wearing such bold colors, so take a cue from nature!  Isn’t it amazing how everything in nature is created with perfect balance!  If you’ve seen a plant or flower with some amazing colors, copy them!  Incorporate those colors into your next outfit!

Let me give you some examples to enjoy!

Don’t forget: YOU HAVE NATURAL BEAUTY!
